New York Tsurphu Goshir Dharma Center is a religious non-profit organization dedicated to teaching traditional Tibetan Buddhism in a format that maintains the focused intent and integrity of the unique Buddhist lineage held by the Goshir Gylatsabpas.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 created to offer a range of programs that include weekly meditation practices, retreats, contemplative community service projects, and traditional Tibetan Buddhist spiritual care and support for those who are sick or dying.

We are also home to the Samantabhadra Initiative, a program created to offer contemplative and spiritual support for the LGBTQ community, hospice patients and their loved ones, and the prison community.   Additionally, our activities include the Goshir Gyaltsab Text Preservation Project, and initiative to collect, catalog and translate the works of the Goshir Gyaltsab lineage.

Through these collected activities New York Tsurphu Goshir Dharma Center provides individuals with an opportunity to explore and develop contemplative practice in a way that maintains the integrity of the unique lineage of the Goshir Gyaltsabpas while speaking to the needs, concerns, and spiritual idiom of the modern American.
